Pasi Gong
The Wuhan® Pasi Gong is a traditional Chinese signaling gong known for its sharp, focused attack and commanding presence. Hand-crafted by skilled gong makers in China, each Pasi Gong is shaped, hammered, and tuned using time-honored techniques that produce its signature piercing tone.
Smaller and lighter than large orchestral gongs, the Pasi Gong delivers a bright, high-pitched strike with a fast response and quick, clear decay—perfect for rhythmic cues, theatrical punctuations, ensemble accents, and ceremonial calls. Its compact size makes it easy to handle, whether suspended on a stand or played as a handheld instrument.
With its distinct clarity and authentic character, the Wuhan® Pasi Gong brings a touch of tradition and a powerful voice to schools, world-music ensembles, theater productions, and sound designers seeking a crisp, attention-grabbing effect rooted in centuries of Chinese percussion craftsmanship.
