To determine the correct size, measure the diameter of your drum shell from one outside edge to the opposite outside edge. Drumhead sizes are measured in inches and should match your drum’s shell diameter exactly.

How often should I replace my drumheads?

How do I install a new Attack™ drumhead?
- Remove the old drumhead and hoop from the drum.
- Wipe the bearing edge clean to remove any dust or debris.
- Place the new drumhead evenly on the drum shell.
- Reinstall the hoop and tighten each tension rod by hand until snug.
- Using a drum key, gradually tighten the rods in a star (cross) pattern to apply even tension.
- Press gently in the center of the head to help seat it, then tune the drum to your desired pitch.
