JD Walker
Bio
My drumming career started with the most fitting inspirational moment a young future drummer could ever ask for… a Rush concert. From humble beginnings of jamming in friends basements to playing for thousands, every show and opportunity to hold a pair of sticks has felt like a true blessing from the Lord. I’ve had the chance to personally study under incredible players and true masters of their craft like Chris Turner of Oceans Ate Alaska, II of Sleep Token, Matt Halpern of Periphery, Troy Wright, and many others. I’ve had the opportunity to share the stage with bands I’ve listened to since my formative years, play hard in front of thousands of strangers, and meet amazing people who I’m thankful to call friends for life. In music and life, I live by one motto – “Play hard, praise God”.
