The Grover name is synonymous with premium quality— known as the world’s finest—we stand behind our products, delivering commanding performance backed by the best in customer service.
Innovation that shapes the sound of music.
For nearly a century, Grover/Trophy Musical Products has moved generations.
An industry icon, ours is a tale of evolution and adaptation: Grover’s Cleveland-based operations began as a family-owned wholesale company in 1922. For four generations, we remain family owned and operated, manufacturing and distributing products worldwide under three distinct brands, providing the quality and innovation that drives an ever-changing musical marketplace.
Grover/Trophy Musical Products was founded in 1922 as a wholesaler of musical instruments and accessories under the name Grossman Music Corporation. We began manufacturing in the 1940s and eventually exited the wholesale business entirely to concentrate on manufacturing.
We are best known for our full range of Grover® guitar tuning keys, including the popular ROTOMATIC® series for guitars along with tuning keys for basses, mandolins, banjos and ukuleles; as well as bridges, cables, the Ultra CapoTM and other fretted string instrument accessories. Our other brands include Trophy®, The Clevelander Drum Company® and FirstNote®, which feature accessories, educational items and musical instruments.
